3ltr Volume Syringe is Failing
Published Date: August 21, 2020
Troubleshooting
SpiroCal 3000 3L Calibration Syringe
Check the Volume Syringe is not leaking
  • Take 3Ltr Syringe and ensure that it is securely placed on work surface
  • Remove any adaptors or fittings from the open end of the syringe
  • Ensure the syringe is set to ‘closed’ position with the handle pushed in as far as it will go
  • Seal the open end of the syringe completely
  • Try to pull the handle out slowly.
  • If handle does not move, syringe is not leaking. If handle starts to pull out, check the syringe for leaks around the seal, if end cap is fully sealed there may be an internal leak. If so contact us for assistance.
